Jalan Waru Cilangkap Begins to Be Paved with Hotmix

Asphalt work began on Jalan Waru RT 04 and 05/RW 02, Cilangkap Village.

This is targeted for completion in two days ahead

During the work, the Jalan Waru had to be closed down to prevent unwanted things. It was directly monitored by Jakarta DPRD Member, Karyatin Subiantoro.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency's Road and Bridge Division Head, Benny Situmorang said the road as long as 251 meters was asphalted because a lot of it was peeling and bumpy.

At the location, there is a channel using a concrete U-Ditch measuring 60x60 centimeters, which is installed in the middle of the road. Thus, the work was carried out on the left and right sides of the U-Ditch.

"This is targeted for completion in two days ahead," he added, Thursday (11/16).

Jakarta DPRD Member, Karyatin Subiantoro, appreciated the East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency for responding quickly to residents' suggestions, especially on Jalan Waru II and Jalan Basuki II which are not yet covered.

"We'll help monitor and supervise, thus locations that have not been asphalted can be paved now. Thus, residents feel safe and comfortable," she uttered.

Another appreciation also came from a Member of LMK RW 02 Cilangkap, Suharno. It was because the road condition was worse and dangerous.

"Hopefully, people will feel safe and comfortable when passing through," he hoped.
